It has obtained Special-Class qualifications for the general construction contracting of railway works; Class I qualifications for the general construction contracting of highways, municipal services, housing construction and mechanical & electrical installation works; Class I qualifications for such specialties as bridges, tunnels, highway subgrade, highway pavements, railway track laying, bridge erection and railway electricity & electrification works; Class I qualifications for the specialized contracting of communications works, building decoration works, fire control facility works, hydraulic tunnel works, steel structure works and so on; qualifications for the specialized contracting of highway traffic works and urban rail transit works; Class II qualifications for the EPC of water conservancy and hydropower; a Class A qualification for steel structure design; Class A qualifications for environmental protection works and prevention & control works of geological hazards; a Class A (II) qualification for the railway industry and a Class A qualification for design in the construction industry. In addition, CTCE also possesses qualifications for foreign project contracting and external management rights. Among the construction methods compiled by CTCE, 10 methods have been rated as National Grade Normalized Construction Methods and 209 methods have been rated as Provincial/Ministerial Grade Normalized Construction Methods. CTCE is a national hi-tech enterprise that has established a national enterprise technology center and a postdoctoral workstation.
